On May 27, 1919, the brothers Johan and Hendrik exchanged Schuitemaker at the local notary, a piece of land in Het Veer (municipality of Rijssen-Wierden) with the Ezeman brothers to establish their workshop.

For Johan working as a blacksmith and Hendrik by profession carriage repairman, this meant the official start of their company that grew into a forge, carriage repair, sawmill and commercial trade in agricultural vehicles.

100 years later, Rijssen is a proud company with 140 employees, which produces high-quality agricultural machinery and worldwide delivers to the agri sector and offers winterservice solutions for road authorities in the Netherlands.
