This time in Meet the Masters, we speak to Master Manel Gibanel, the owner of Elbrus based in Spain. Gibanel started managing the sales department of another Spanish distributor. When the owner stepped down, Gibanel got the chance to take over the company. In consultation with SVgroup, it was then decided to continue the dealership. Since then, Elbrus has proudly distributed Schuitemaker machines in Spain.

Working together
SVgroup and Elbrus have a lot of trust in each other, they have built a strong relationship due to mutual support. ‘In fact, from the beginning, SVgroup has supported us continuously’, Gibanel said. He continued: ‘Whether in new machine sales, with the spare parts for service and the advice SVgroup technicians always give’.

Quality
‘The quality of Schuitemaker machines is well-known in Spain, both by dealers and users of silage wagons. Some of the wagon drivers in Spain refer to the Rapide as the Rolls-Royce amongst the auto-loading wagons’. When Elbrus became a dealer of Schuitemaker, they invested on promoting the brand in Spain. ‘This way we aim for more people to know about the exceptional quality of Schuitemaker machines.’

Schuitemaker and the Spanish market
‘Schuitemaker is the loading wagon on the market that chops the best, whatever the forage condition is’. The machines are appreciated for their quality, efficiency and their sustainability. ‘In fact, the Rapide’s are remarked among users in Spain as the most durable wagons available’. Many of these wagons are used to bring lucerne (also known as alfalfa) to grass drying factories. This will then be dried and pressed into large bales. Many of these Rapide's run from February to November, so 1500 running hours per year per machine are no exception.
