This week in Meet the Masters, Johan Meinderts, owner of Schuitemaker key-dealer Meinderts Wergea BV in the Netherlands. Meinderts is specialized in the sale and maintenance of agricultural machinery and tractors. Thanks to years of experience and specialized professionals, the company enjoys an excellent reputation in the region. Meinderts’ answer to the question of how he experiences the cooperation with Schuitemaker: “We feel involved with the company because of the short communication lines and the personal contacts.”

Meinderts has been intertwined with the Schuitemaker brand for many years. “We have felt involved from the first hour the Rapide was introduced. My father saw the first Rapide and got excited about its simplicity. Next to that, of course it is a Dutch product and Schuitemaker was the first brand with the dual purpose principle thanks to the compact, solid construction and trailing pick-up. It is great to experience the involvement with the factory and the passion of the mechanics and sales reps for the Schuitemaker loader wagon!”

Particularly remarkable is the way Meinderts deals with second hand Rapides. “The strength of the Schuitemaker Rapide is that you can use the newest technology in the oldest models. Thanks to the knowledge we have, we can estimate very well how we can sell a used wagon in a technically good condition. We make use of the rebuild concept, with which we give the wagons a second life. This is not only financially attractive for the customer, but is of course very sustainable as well!”

Johan Meinderts sees the future cooperation positively. “If you want to have a good product, cooperation is very important for development, service and sales. We have the contacts in the field and Schuitemaker translates the market’s wishes and requirements into their products as well as possible.”
