The unique Rapide concept | trusted performance, optimal results

The renewed Schuitemaker Rapide is equipped with a further developed 2.40-metre Schuitemaker Trailing Pick-up. Thanks to the Schuitemaker Click & Go concept, the pick-up is easy to connect and disconnect.

The Schuitemaker Trailing Pick-up searches and finds the ideal loading position by means of automatic position adjustment in relation of the driven feed roller and the rotor. Thanks to the 3D contour suspension, tandem chassis and 6-wheel set-up, the Rapide remains perfectly balanced, with optimal ground pressure and pick-up operation. In addition, the pickup is equipped with hydraulic overpressure protection to prevent any damage and its unprecedented ground clearance ensures multi-functionality.

PowerRotor Pro | Gradual crop feeding, in all conditions

Discover the redesigned PowerRotor Pro, for gradual crop feeding, even with rougher material.
With an enlarged diameter combined with the special tooth shape, the PowerRotor Pro offers optimum crop entry. Experience less crop damage and low power requirements, while maintaining excellent cut quality. The rotor is as much as 2.10 metres wide. This ensures smoother
crop entry and a wider feed channel, allowing more efficient operations. With 8 tine rows and an even run, the crop is processed effortlessly and evenly. This results in smooth and continuous operation, for optimum product.

Due to the optimised tooth shape, less pressure is exerted on the front wall and the power rotor runs smoother with less power demand.

Autoload | Loading and unloading has never been easier

The Schuitemaker Autoload combined with the simple on-screen operation of the Schuitemaker DoubleTouch™ Control, ensures that even inexperienced riders load and unload easily and quickly. The integrated torque meter in the centre box and the pressure on the Rapid Release top board ensure that the entire loading process is fully automatic. Because the Schuitemaker Autoload automatically rotates the bottom chain, the crop moves to the rear at exactly the right moment, making optimum use of the wagon's volume. In combination with the Schuitemaker PowerRotor Pro, the Autoload ensures optimal baling density.

Autoload charging device

Autoload is controlled by 2 components: torque gauge and pressure gauge. The torque meter is mounted in the rotor tube, at the level of the drive box. The pressure gauge gets its signal from the cylinders of the ‘RapidStream’ front panel. Both separately adjustable parameters transmit load values during the loading process, to which the bottom chain reacts and is activated to pull the loaded crop backwards. Power demand is reduced and the wagon load is much more stable.

Rapid Release+ | maximum utilisation of volume and capacity

With the Schuitemaker Rapid Release+ you make optimal use of the Rapide's volume and capacity. The renewed front wall and the high-quality cut grass ensure that every inch of the wagon is utilised. This leads to a high yield and efficient use of the available space.
Our patented Schuitemaker Rapid Release+ concept, makes it possible to fill the wagon optimally with a high density. Loading is done along the front board, in the rotor's direction of rotation, giving you full control over the filling of the bin. This results in an efficient and practical loading experience. Ready for the future | thanks to hybrid technology

Thanks to advanced technologies, such as the redesigned rotor, blade beam and lower weight, the Rapide has a remarkably low power requirement. The 100% slip-free carbon belt ensures seamless and compact power transfer. The renewed Schuitemaker Rapide is prepared for hybrid drive. By placing a generator on the Rapide, it is now possible to electrically drive the pick-up and rollers, among other things. Due to its modular design, this module can easily be added to your vehicle in the future. Experience optimal power consumption, without compromising on performance.

Sustainable land use | contribute to a vital soil

Schuitemaker contributes to a vital soil through a wide range of large tyres. The Schuitemaker Rapide offers the possibility of using tyres 165 cm high and 85 cm wide (850/50R30.5). In addition, innovative concepts such as pressure changing system and the Schuitemaker Slidingaxle ensure protection of the soil structure.

Schuitemaker Slidingaxle

The Schuitemaker Slidingaxle is the world's first sliding axle on the dual-purpose wagon. Sliding out one of the axles creates two parallel ruts, reducing soil stress. Soil compaction is reduced, the crop is better protected and water and nutrients are retained.

Unique cutting method | guaranteed precise cutting

Discover the precise cutting quality of Schuitemaker Rapide.

Guaranteed beautiful cutting results thanks to the 5-part blade bar, optimised blades and unique cutting method. With the 50 round serrated blades with a thickness of 5mm, which cut at 40mm intervals, you not only experience the most optimal power requirements, but also precision in the cutting result. The unique cutting method, where cutting is directed towards the centre of the rotor instead of the outside, minimises the pressure on the slotted plate resulting in lower power requirements. In addition, thanks to the 5-part blade bar with hydraulic fuse, there is less peak load in the blades. That, combined
with lower knife bar pressure, ensures a smooth and efficient cutting process.

The central release makes maintenance easy. During maintenance, the hydraulic circuit is locked out, allowing contractors to work safely. A precise cutting result, with low power requirements.

NIR. MEASURING = KNOWING. The mineral cycle makes measuring and weighing feed components increasingly important. Knowing in real time what nutritional value the harvested crop provides. Important for the farmer. Optionally, the Rapide can be equipped with an NIR sensor. This uses infrared spectroscopy to measure the dry matter content. The NIR sensor is placed right next to the feed, where the baling density is highest and most constant. The crop loaded can be analysed directly and the dry matter content can be read on the terminal in the tractor.

Our machine is equipped with weighing cells in the pins of the spring cylinders of both the axle and articulated drawbar cylinders. This allows you to always weigh accurately, which is essential for efficient harvesting and optimum results.
